While our film had a general lack of sound the use of music was still crucial and beneficial to the overall tone of the film. We initially had intended to not use any music at all and instead focus on an ambient symphony of sounds. However, upon searching through YouTube’s wide variety of different videos and content, Jair discovered this one track that blew us away. It was a sound clip of a slow and eerie ukulele song that we felt was perfect for the film and we had to incorporate it. While it was a great track, we decided to do some minor editing to the speed of the song. Upon hearing it, we thought it was rather fast paced and felt that it would have a much greater effect if it was slowed down. We also thought it would sound much better if the song gradually presented itself in the film. We liked how it sounded slowly creeping into the audience’s ears much like the Masked Man crept into Dominick’s house.
