Journey

As the moons pass over the night sky I ponder of the vast knowledge and wisdom being gifted to me in the short span of time I spend in my AICE Media Studies classroom. Since this material is rather familiar to me, I have an easier time being able to grasp and absorb the information being taught to me. I’ve been taught concepts such as how a camera angle can make an audience feel inferior or superior towards one character; or perhaps how a camera angle can captivate a character’s immediate reaction to a pivotal event that took place in the storyline. Camera angles may also depict how an expanding shot of a vast landscape can make the audience feel minute compared to this massive scene. My experience has been overall an exhilarating one. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to be present in a class where I can truly enjoy the material being presented to me. This would allow me to easily retain all this information. Overall, I feel like this class will open my third-eye and grant me the privilege to fully appreciate film in all of it’s glory.
