Howdy, my name is Adrian Hernandez. Im currently enrolled in the Cambridge program at G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School, and am in the 11th grade. Im also taking AICE Media Studies which is a class that explores the art of film and the different ways one can not only shoot, but interpret a film. What brought me to this class was my love for film itself. I do enjoy watching movies, as well as I enjoy analyzing them. I find the deeper meanings behind a movie incredibly interesting. Cinematography, is another aspect of filmmaking that I enjoy, for it can make the audience feel like they themselves are inside the film. This transitions into my interest of how film can manipulate a viewer’s emotions. Whether the film is able to keep you on the edge of your seat for hours on end, to whether it make you laugh until your insides hurt, movies do a great job of having their audience explore their emotions. Film is a brilliant form of expression that allows the creator to create a motion picture what he or she invisions. I’m eager to learn about how in depth I can go when analyzing a film.
