After much anticipation, the day finally came in order to shoot our final film. My group and I rejoiced at my house in proper wardrobe and began filming. Throughout the course of our filming, we encountered several issues that presented themselves out of nowhere. For one, my neighbours were blasting Latin music, which would totally tarnish the overall tone of our film. We eventually had to completely strip the backyard scenes of audio in order to remove the effect they would’ve had on our film. Another issue that presented itself while filming was the intense tropical climate of Miami. Even though we filmed in the midst of night, an overwhelming population of mosquitos proved to be a significant bother when filming. Examples of their proven inconvenience was when the masked man (Jair) stood outside in the dark. Another example was the final shot of Dominick walking outside and the masked man creeping into the house.
Besides those two issues, the final filming went well overall. My group and I successfully created the film we wanted and polished our shots to their fullest capacity. Now we were ready to edit and finalize our introduction.
