Before filming, my group and I had to decide where we were going to shoot said film. We were conflicted between mine or Dominick’s house because both of us are equipped with the security app, ‘ring’. This app allowed us to access the surveillance camera outside where our antagonist stood. Being that my house was larger and had more space, my house was chosen for the film.
- This photo is of the living room, and where our film began. The opening shot of the fan spinning was taken here as well. Dominick initially reacting to the ring notification also occurred here. The shot of the candle burning was also taken in the living room, but the counter where the candle stood was not photographed.
- This picture depicts where Dominick walked when he received the notification of the masked man in his backyard. The door in the picture was also shown in the film, as it leads to the backyard where the ending of our film was shot. While the dining room was not captured on film, the shot of the double doors was.
- This picture is of the backyard. This is where we finished the ending of our film. The masked man (Jair) was hidden in the far right of the picture in complete darkness. We used the expansive space of the terrace to incorporate follow shots and massive pans in our film.
