Make-Up:
Jair and I were in charge of make-up and wardrobe for our film. However, the specific demands for our film do not require any form of make-up. Thus, none of it was used throughout the duration of our film.
Wardrobe:
The wardrobe choices we used throughout our film was rather symbolic of the potential outcome of the film. Both the antagonist and protagonist received their own specific outfits for their own respective reasons.
- Dominick (Protagonist): The entire purpose of Dominick’s clothing is to create a very safe and peaceful environment, while still staying true to the horror and thriller theme of our film. Dominick wore very lax and casual clothing. However, both articles of clothing ranged between the shades of black and gray, which may create a rather grim and uneasy feeling in the audience. It may make them feel like something bad is going to happen.
- The Masked Man (Antagonist): In order to truly encompass the idea of the masked man, we had to make his outfit as intimidating as possible, while still remaining rather simple. The use of the black shirt and gray pants symbolizes the horror and thriller theme, while still looking casual. The simplicity of Jair’s outfit was to make it seem like he was a very normal guy who one wouldn’t assume would have sinister intentions. We wanted to make it seem like anybody could be dangerous, and it shouldn’t be limited to monsters or demons.
